1. Mentoring Minds

Assignment One: Terrance Farming (Pre-Assessment)

Assignment Two: New Science Digs up Old Garbage (Instruction Text)

Please complete assignments on Mentoring Minds FIRST! Both assignments are designed to enhance critical thinking skills. Terrance Farming (Pre-Assessment) passage has 4 questions that needs to be answered and New Science Digs up Old Garbage (Instruction Text) passage has five. Assignments on Mentoring Minds will be GRADED!

Assignment One: Supported Practice: Using Evidence to Analyze a Text

Assignment Two: Complete the Quiz: Using Evidence to Analyze a Text. These assignments are designed to enhance textual analysis skills. Please take the quiz AFTER completing the Supported Practice. Students have TWO attempts to take the QUIZ.

Note: I understand that there was difficulty logging into Raz Kids (A-Z Learning) last week. Student log-in information should be as such:

Assignment: READ The Black Stones and take the QUIZ over reading assignment.

 

NOTE: ALL three assignments will be looked at and graded so PLEASE take the time to complete ALL assignments. Grades will be due Friday April 3rd; however, I will ACCEPT assignments up until Monday April 6th. PARENTS: PLEASE DO NOT FORGET the next WORK package PICK-UP will be Tuesday April 7th 11:00a.m.-1:30p.m. These NEED to be picked up as work packages are GRADED as well. FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Instruction for the Summer Bridge Program will begin TOMORROW June 2nd-June 30th. Ms. Keaton and Mr. Harrison will serve as your teachers! There will be NO instructional days on Friday. Summer school hours are 9:00AM - 2:00PM Monday-Thursday. We will focus on Math, Science, Reading, and Social Studies.

9:20AM - 11:30AM = Reading 5th Grade (Keaton) / Math (Harrison) 6th Grade
11:35AM - 12:05pm = Social Studies 5th Grade (Keaton) / Science 6th Grade (Harrison)

12:30PM - 1:30PM = Reading 6th Grade (Keaton) / Math 5th Grade (Harrison)
