Week Three - April 6-10
This week students our focus will be making connections to personal experiences, ideas from other texts, and society. (4.6E)
In Compass, I have uploaded your assignments that helps you with making connections when reading stories for Reading and prepositional phrases for Language Arts
Raz Kids Reading, I have assigned " The Cave of the Lost" for everyone and we might discuss it as a class on the Zoom next week, please complete the reading, assignment and the quiz.
Raz Kids Writing, complete the writing prompt. This is an optional assignment but if you can complete it please do.
Week Two
Hello students, I miss you all very much! This week we will be working on decoding and comprehension in Reading. Your assignments have been uploaded to Compass and continue to complete RAZ KIDS as if you were at school.
Attached is a copy of Jabberwosky and you will be it reading it this week as well as an anchor chart with decoding strategies. I have attached them as a reference for when you working. When working, take your time and get an understanding of you assignment so you can be successful and retain information.
Please try to do work daily and at the same time every day, so you can have structure as you would in the classroom. The attached chart gives information regarding staying on task daily. However, have fun with your family, create activities and do whatever makes you smile and happy!!!
